08/02/05 Plucked! has been chosen as an official selection for The Bearded Child Film Festival held in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.  The movie will screen at 11 p.m. Friday, August 12 in the Davies Theater at the Itasca Community College. The festival normally focuses on short films, but Festival Director Dan Anderson made an exception for our little chicken movie, calling it "f******g awesome!"  Plucked! director Michael Green will be in attendance, along with his wife and son.

 

07/18/05 A Tattered Remnants Productions spinoff is competing in The Filmerica Challenge.  Known as team Instant Pictures, TRP vets Michael Green, Terry McManus, Diana McManus, Chad Miller, James R. Green, Noel Hurst, David John and newcomer Christian Golden wrote, shot, edited and mailed a nine minute short film in less than 72 hours!  The nation-wide competition began at 7 p.m. Friday, July 15 and ended at 4:20 p.m. Monday, July 18.  Their short is called "Run Dry."  It is an action/adventure story about a white collar criminal trying to get to Mexico.  

You are encouraged to register for free at filmerica.com so you can view their entry, and others, online!   You can vote, too!  The Top 20 finalists (out of 62 teams) will be announced Thursday, August 4.  

 

04/08/05 Plucked! received an Honorable Mention at the B-Movie Theater Film Festival held in Syracuse, New York.  Judges included Ron Bonk of Sub Rosa Studios and Phil Hall, contributing editor for Film Threat magazine.

 

10/09/04 Tattered Remnants Productions held a second private screening in Austin, Texas. About 90 people attended the event.

 

06/26/04 Plucked! was screened for the first time before a private audience in Tulsa, Oklahoma. About 55 people attended the event.
